Restrictions on freedom by a Totalitarian state:

Totalitarian system refers of or relating to a system of Government where the people have virtually no authority and the state wields absolute control of every aspect of the country , socially, financially and politically. A recent article published by an International non -Governmental  orgaorganisation ( for protecting the human rights ) on the 'Restrictions on freedom ' by North Korea over their Citizens.

The article discusses the details about different restrictions and control over the citizens, imposed by the Government of North Korea under the leadership of the dictator Kim Jong Un. His Government restricts all the political and civil freedom for the Citizens such as freedom of expression, travel, religion, assembly or association.

According UN ' Commission of Inquiry ' reports, serious violation of human rights have happened in North Korea. The Government have murdered many of the opponents and those who raised voice against them and for freedom. Many protesters are jailed, murdered, enslaved and raped. The Government prohibits all types of trade unions, associations, independent medias etc. No protection was offered for women and Children. Travel restrictions are the another important challenge for North Korean people. They are not allowed to travel outside the Country, even there are domestic restrictions too.

Totalitarian system of North Korea is an important issue in the Global community as the Government is involving a number of human rights violation as well as the involvement of making new weapons including Nuclear weapons, that is a threat for Global peace. Human rights violations are attracting the attention of people around the world and human right protesters are raising their voice against North Korean Government.

Outside influences may not impose any changes in the System of North Korea, but the efforts of United Nations could do something recently for certain changes in North Korea. Due to the continuous efforts of UN security council and warnings  , North Korea has signed in certain treaties such as Convention on Elimination of All forms of Discrimination against women ( CDEAW) , Convention on Rights of the Child ( CRC) and International Covenant of Civil and Political rights. Major Countries in the world including United States are forcing the North Korean Government to limit their weapon experiments and to sign on the treaties that control weapon making and using by individual countries.

The article was not a Neutral article. It was openly writing the human rights violations that happening in the country of North Korea and also described about the outside efforts by UN and the countries like US to change the totalitarian system of North Korean Government. The article was published from US, and the Organisation, which published the article is an organisation for Human Rights. It has to raise the voice against human rights violations.
