Review recent bills you have received from service businesses, such as those for telephone, car repair, cable TV, credit card, etc. Evaluate each one against the following criteria: (a) general appearance and clarity of presentation, (b) easily understood terms of payment, (c) avoidance of confusing terms and definitions, (d) appropriate level of detail, (e) unanticipated (“hidden”) charges, (f) accuracy, (g) ease of access to customer service in case disputes.

Answer--I have recently received a telephone bill,car repair ,cable tv ,and the credit card,the evolution of the bill on the basis of the following criteria are--

A.For Telephone bill--General appearance and clarity of presentation--I got telephone bill in very clear appearance ,i got the both hard copy and soft copy of the bill,in which are bill and payment and terms and conditions are clearly mentioned.

Easily understood terms of payment--All the payment details in the bill was given in the proper manner and all the bill amount was clearly justified by he bill provider and there was no misconception to understood the bill.

Avoidance of confusing terms and definitions--In my telephone there was no avoidance of confusing terms and definitions because all the terms and conditions was clearly mentioned in the block letters.

Appropriate level of detail--In telephone every details was on appropriate manner ,but the helpline number provided by the operator was not enough to contact them.

Unanticipated (“hidden”) charges--There was no any hidden charges charged by the telephone operator.

Accuracy--Bill was accurate and correct and can easily understood.

Ease of access to customer service in case disputes--The operator clearly stated that in case of disputes no third party will be entertained ,all disputes will sort out under the local jurisdiction court.

B#Car Repair-General appearance and clarity of presentation--The general appearance and clarity of presentation was not in proper manner,bill was misprinted ,bill was also created on only offline hard copy ,that why i was unsatisfied with the general appearance and clarity of presentation.

Easily understood terms of payment--Terms of payment was also not so easy ,they charged extra amount of money without clarifying the amount.

Avoidance of confusing terms and definitions-There was lot of confusing terms and definitions in the bill like extra charges will be applicable for cleaning and washing  but the charging amount was not mentioned.

Appropriate level of detail--There was not appropriate level of detail in the bill ,all the details was in very saturated form,no clear explanation was there in the bill.

Unanticipated (“hidden”) charges--There was hidden charges in the bill,which was not mentioned by the car repair factory.

Accuracy--Bill was not accurate,they were charging more then they promised ,hidden charges was also there in the bill.

Ease of access to customer service in case disputes--Ease of access to customer service in case disputes was good by repair company as all disputes will be sort out in local court.

C#Cable Tv--General appearance and clarity of presentation--General appearance and clarity of presentation was very clear and understandable in nature.

Easily understood terms of payment--All the terms of payment was clearly mentioned and payment was made on the quarterly basis.

Avoidance of confusing terms and definitions--There was no any confusing terms and definitions was there in the bill,all the information was provided in proper and stated manner.

Appropriate level of detail-There was appropriate level of detail in the bill ,all the fixed amounts and brokage of bill details was in proper manner.

Unanticipated (“hidden”) charges--There was some hidden charges in bill ,which was not clearly specified in the bill.

Accuracy--Bill was accurate in numbers .

Ease of access to customer service in case disputes--Ease of access to customer service in case disputes was having very normal procedures by stating that all the disputes will be settle in the office premises with proper evidences.

4#Credit Card --General appearance and clarity of presentation-As i have taken the credit card of a government bank ,the general appearance of the bill was in proper format and the clarity of presentation was also very understandable with the all necessary information related to the bill and bill amount.

Easily understood terms of payment--In my credit card bill terms of payment was clearly stated that delay in payment will lead to have extra interest rate on the principal amount.

Avoidance of confusing terms and definitions--In my bill there was no avoidance of terms and definitions all the information was given in systematic manner but terms was mentioned in very small letters which was not easy to read and understand in one look.

Appropriate level of detail--The level of detail was appropriate and all the detail was also provided in the ethical manner.

Unanticipated (“hidden”) charges-There was no hidden charges in my credit card bill,all the bill was in very partial manner.

Accuracy--Credit card bill was accurate and correct and easy to understand.

Ease of access to customer service in case disputes--In case of disputes all the case will be sort out in the local court.
