Evaluate Twitter and Instagram as tools for branding a not for profit charity organisation. With reference to marketing/branding theory, what are the positives and negatives of their use in this case?
Functionalism, conflict theory and symboic intrrnationaism are the major theories in branding.Twitter is one social media which has followers across global and very minimal but has sensible scope of advertisement. But reach of Twitter among common people is less but for a non profit organisation they can built strong connect between eminent people from various class of society ( professionals, politicians, buerocrats etc). At the same time Instagram is popular because of it's various capabilities such as posting photos vidies and linked with Facebook media . Thus functional relativism is high in Instagram where it will get reach towards wide class of society. But it's difficult to get a unique value proposition because of enormosu content which get uploaded in instagram.so both has it's own unique features but for focused segment Twitter is the best option and for wide class of campaign Instagram is more effective
