I am an Indian and belong to the North- East parts of India. I belonged to a financially backward family, nearly to the bottom of the pyramid.

I strived a lot in life and completed my post graduation in computer science. I got the opportunity to work abroad/ in England.

When I was given an opportunity to work as Assistant Manager and was posted in London.

I still remember my first official meeting. When I stood and initiated for my power point presentation, the 7-8 people/ higher level employees were looking at me with a disgust.

They were with their prejudices. They never imagined that some Indian person will come and will instruct, monitor and supervise them.

Many English people are with a prejudie towards Indians because they assume and treat themselves better, nicer and smarter. Further,bi was always avoided by them. Even during the cup of coffee or sometimes lunch in office, they intentionally discriminated me and almost never uttered a single word.

But I never complained and never list my temper. I treated it and dealt with it with my sense of humour. I personally believe that humour can prove to be the best possible medicine for conflicts and disturbances.
