Impulse are brought to the brain by sensory cranial nerves, Following is the list of priamary sensory cortex with Broadmann area and their associated cortex.
1) Olfactory Nerve - Primary olfactory cortex in temporal lobe, Broadmann area 34 from here it goes to various area piriform cortex, the amygdala, olfactory tubercle and the secondary olfactory cortex.
2) Optic nerve - Privalry visual cortex in occipital lobe - Broadmann are 17, visual association area - Broadmann are 18,19
3) Auditory nerve - Primary auditory cortex - Broadmann are 41,42, Wernikes area - Broadmann area - 22, Brocas Area - 44,45, Uncinate fasciculus/arcuate fasiculus - connnects werknikes & Brocas area.
OTHER BROADMANN AREAS OF BRAIN -
Area 4 - Primary motor area - for initiation of movement
Area 6 & 8 - Pre motor area - For finenes of movement
Area 9,10,11 & 12 - Pre-frontal area - For social behaviour & personality i.e. Intelligence, memory, Ego & self respect
