Patients other than those suffering from CVID-19 are going through tough times as well. Patients with serious illness like heart diseases and cancer need treatment in hospital. They will face difficulty in terms of social distancing. There may be overlap between health workers treating COVID patients and those treating them, due to shortage of doctors in these times. This poses a threat of COVID infection among them. Use of ACs in most hospitals may allow the virus to trap and accumulate further within the premises of the hospital.
Government should try as much possible to keep the staff treating COVID patients and those with other illness to be separate and there should be no interaction between the staff from the two groups. Proper ventilation can ensure exposure to both fresh air and sunlight. Patients once treated should be allowed to rest at home, decreasing the threat of COVID infection.
