Based on what you have learned and your own research can you provide examples of competion in the education market?

The thoughts that parents may go somewhere else forces people in education market to put more Input and to use those inputs more efficiently leading to competition.

The school doing poor result in an educational year will have the fear of loosing students for next year , as parents will always prefer a good performance school for their children. The school will also feel tough competition in getting funding for next year.

Geographic location also plays a role in competition. Schools in good area will see more number of students or more number of rich students as parents will prefer their children studying in their neighborhood.

House prices are also higher around the areas of a good performing school.

Types of studies , different options in studies,more facilities,better class rooms , schools are involved in all type of possibilities to attract more parents specially rich parents . educated, richer parents are better at picking good schools than less educated and
poorer parent.

Schools providing more technical classrooms , inter school competition , systematic schedule, highly qualified professionals, rich status, expansive buildings , transportation all these things are assets for competition in educational market.
