Solutions

Expert Solution

In our life, we also face similar situations when we have to decide a method to reverse the self-gratification. Here, in this case, it's very general phenomena or conditions a lot of car buyers have to go through.

The person has a lot of possession and want a large car which can hold all the possession and he has only the given amount of money that he/she cannot switch to something more environment friendly, The person does not have extra money as well as this is the perfect car for all his possessions s as well as himself. such conditions arise which may lead the person to only thnk about himself and become selfish and buy such cars.

A sustainable case would be if the everyone refuses to use such cars and this may lead the car company to change their system and work on something which is more environment-friendly as well as can lead to sustainable development. ut, this is generally not the case.

People here become selfish and they only think about the short-term goals of having a large car instead of having a fresh and clean environment in which they can live a healthy life. Therefore these are the cases of reverse -gratification.

It has been proposed that we could explore Mars using inflated balloons to hover just above the surface. The buoyancy of the atmosphere would keep the balloon aloft. The density of the Martian atmosphere is 0.0154 kg/m3 (although this varies with temperature). Suppose we construct these balloons of a thin but tough plastic having a density such that each square meter has a mass of 5.50 g . We inflate them with a very light gas whose mass we can...
