No I personally thinks this is not true.

If we see data from last decade then we find that there is remarkable change in Gender equality. As people are becoming more educated and aware as active citizen so they realises and knows the importance of Gender equality. This is the reason we all observing remarkable change in equality. And with time Gender inequality is just the history topic that is taught in books. In few years like 15-25 years there is no gender inequality left.

Your concern is gender inequality will depend on the actions of feminist movement around the world. So the clear answer is No.

Feminism not play any role in gender equality. Feminism just target other Gender for their conditions and attracts media and creates their social profile to become famous and to get fame. They has no intension to work for Gender inequality. They are just for spreading hate on irrelevant topics that not exists in reality.
