Imagine you are part of a four person team charged with developing a complex, multi-variable market analysis for your hospital. All members of your team are basically at the same job level as you and your boss has not designated anyone as the official “Team Leader.” After your first meeting, everyone agrees on the general vision and purpose of the project, the primary tasks needed to be completed, and a six week time schedule.
After two weeks of work, one of the members of your team with an office right down the hall from yours has failed to produce anything. Another team member has a sick child and is starting to miss meetings and is seriously lagged in his overall participation in the project. He works virtually out of his home in Seattle, Washington.
What would you say to each of these team members about the project?

What would you say to each of these team members about the project?
Because team leaders do not have a appointed team leader who will organize the advancement of the flow with each team member, it is important to collaborate with the four team members and work for the project success. The main aim is to finish the project and so it is important that we collaborate with each other to seek and find solutions to the challenges that each team member faces and resolve them so that it does not hinder the project's success. For the team member who has not created anything yet, we will need to make efforts from now on to involve the team member in our project conversations to ensure that this team member is not feeling excluded from the project work.
Instead of focusing on the previous job, we need to look at how much more we need to achieve and continue collaborating collaboratively with each other through constructive discussions. The required addition of the team leader who was left alone earlier would help both the team manager and the team leader do their roles better. The project manager will operate in harmony with each other by revision of assignments and a consistent division of responsibilities. We will also make sure the project work occurs at a centralized place so we can coordinate the activities of every member of the project team.
For the second employee who due to personal reasons is unable to visit the office, we need to talk with the employee to figure out how much time he can commit to the project so we can better delegate the tasks of that team leader who he will still perform remotely. This means we will also make use of our fourth staff leader who, for personal reasons, can not make it to the workplace. The project progress will be put back on track, with an acceptable positive approach. We must therefore formulate a strategy which focuses on collaborative work.
