Scientists have observed water patterns on Mars. Consider landscapes and environments you have observed. What evidence is there for the past movement of water in these places?
When NASA was studying mars then the appearance of gullies on its surface signified the flow of a liquid (most probably water) in its past. Now on considering Landscapes and Environments we observed the liquid water appears to flow from some steeps at relatively warmer slopes on the Martial Land.
Geological evidences of water in the past was confirmed by the sight of enormous outflow channels carved by floods, river valley networks, deltas, and lakebeds. The detection of rocks and minerals on the surface that could only have formed if those rocks were under a flow of liquid water. Many geomorphic features Shows us that there was presence of ground ice and the movement of ice in glaciers. Gullies and slope lineae along the cliffs and crater walls shows that flowing water still continues shaping the surface of Mars, but not at that rapid rate as it was used to be in the past.
