Explain this constraints: Smart Pharmacy managing director does not support cloud-based solution.

What will network designer would do? Network design?

Solutions

Expert Solution

If the smart pharmacy manager doesn't support cloud based solutions for network management, then one alternative is staying with an in-house server. The pharmacy manager can choose to use these because they have a one-time cost for the hardware. In addition, physical security is a known quantity, as the server remains locked away in a side-room or the company’s basement. If the Internet goes down briefly, in-house users can still access their information. We can upgrade the network our own without any extra costs. But high speed network connection, electricity and cooling techniques are required for the server based solutions. For cloud based computing, such elements are not always necessary.

However, the server type networking breaks down as the number of servers increases and are added to a company’s server room. Bringing enough power to the room, removing enough heat, and finding adequate space often become challenging hurdles for the pharmacy company. These problems can eventually become too large and unmanageable.
