What role does network technology play in developing an information system?explain in full details....
Answer) The information system has developed very much in the current period of time. The evolution of such a system is very much supported by the netwr=ork technology. The way networking has helped this information system to grow, it is almost uncomparable to any other fields. The information system is basically a combination of softwares, hardwares, database which is fully supported by the network. Witht the implementation of various network technologies like different ways in which the information system can be connected etc, the growth rate of information system has increased drastically. The various topologies help us make proper connections in an area which ever is best suited for the area. The various connection ways LAN, WAN , MAN are used to connect the information systems of various areas to each other. Different connection mediums are used depending on the distance they are , the speed the need for transmission of data etc. Basically, with the evolution of the internet, the whole of story of the information system has changed. Different ways are used for connecting to the internet varying from wireless to the wired medium. The evolution of networking technology has made it simpler for the information systems to share various hardware devices. The information can be stored at some place and can be retireved out at the other, all this has become possible becuase of the networking technology that shows a single click at a particular site will affect the original data and the updated data can be retrieved from any other location. The transaction being happened here at different ATM's the message we receive in a few seconds as soon as the transaction gets completed, all has become possible because of the development in the networking technology. Without networking technology, the information system is almost incomplete. It has now become an integral part of the information system.
