Is it ethical / good business practice for a company to quote a low price for a software contract knowing that the requirements are ambiguous and that they can charge a high price for subsequent changes requested by the customer? Explain your answer

it is actually anethical to do this. yes by firstly saying a low price you got the customer happy, but afterwards when you come and say to the customer "to do this i need half a million more" your customer will be unhappy and there is a great possibility that he will say "then i dont want that part to be done". so your customer is not properly serviced. also the best commercial a company needs is a mouth to mouth commercial. so imagine how much harm it can do to your company when your customer tells potential customers that you charge low at start but then you increase the price a lot (customers dont know the difference between what they request at first and what they request later, if they knew about computer science they wouldnt be hiring you in the first place). my opinion is if something is ambiguous just clarify it. its anethical to take advantage of your customer and could also harm your company
