1)Qualitative test of the battery include the measurement of which Characteristics.
2)What is Voltage Relaxation/Polarization.
3) Name the different type of charging protocols.
4)What will happen to the voltage relaxation if we charge the battery/cell using low and high current.
5)What is the meaning of State of Charge(SOC) of a battery.
BATTERY
1)The open-circuit voltage (OCV) of battery is a important characteristic parameter in a quantatitative test. It reflects many aspects of a battery's performance, such as capacity, state-of-charge (SOC) and state-of-health.
2)Volatage relaxation is the rest time given to the battery to settle its charge(polarization). An important point to be noted that application of the OCV to SOC estimation can be difficult because of the need for a long rest time for full relaxation.
3)Different chargig protocols -
Constant current constant voltage(OCCV), Open charge point protocol(OCPP), Multistage constant current , Constant current + pulsed charging , Pulse charging , Boost charging , volatage trajectory.
4)Using High Current - relaxation time will be longer.
Using low current - relaxation will be short.
5)State of Charge(SOC) is used to describe how full a battery is! When a battery is fully charged, we can say that the SOC of this battery is 100%.
