According to Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, what are the five typical ways a terminally ill person responds to the prospect of death and the ordeal of dying? Provide a description of each response.
Kubler-Ross descried 5 stages of grief or death one go thorough:
They include:
Denial: In this stage the person who has been diagnosed with a deadly disease and lost a loved denies to accept the truth that some thing like this has happened to them
Anger: After the persistence of the reality, the sufferer feels the anger and asks questions such as "why me god" or " where is god in all this". Underneath anger there is pain always.
Bargaining: After the anger stage, the person feels like to bargain such as "if my son comes back, I will correct all the things between us" or " I will never bother my wife if you(god) take care of her this time".
Depression: When the time passes and you come in terms of the reality that nothing is going to work out and what has happened is past now and you can not do anything about it then one goes into this depression phase.
Acceptance: is the to digest the fact that whatever happened is past now and nothing can be changed about it. It is notion of "being alright" or "ok" with what has happened.
