How glucose level is controlled in our body, which enzymes and feedback mechanisms involve , explain and make a block diagram.
Glucose Homeostasis is impory for our body to function. We need a certain level of glucose in our body. The excess production or lower production of glucose in our body may lead us to the homeostatic response. When the blood glucose level is elevated. The body mechanism senses it and makes the pancreas to secrete insulin. The insulin acts in the body tissues and makes the makes the cellular uptake of glucose which may be used in metabolism fat synthesis or glycogen synthesis and thus blood glucose level depletes and homeostasis is attained. If blood glucose level decreases the the pancreas is stimulated to produce glucagon. The glucagon then circulates in the liver cells and leads to breakdown of glycogen and produce more glucose. This glucose homeostasis is attained.
