ANSWER a :- OCD or we can even say the short form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is one such disorganization terms of personality of person which compels them to do certain things,even though they are unwilling to do it,or make them to have some specific thinking again and again.Obsessive compulsive as the name suggest makes the person obsessed regarding some things,and force them to have constant thoughts regarding that particular thing,though they make efforts,yet cannot get rid of those those thought process.Moreover,compulsion refers to the sense,the need or desire to do something,even if the person do not want to do it,it is as such they loose control over themselves,and goes on doing the particular thing,again.Sometimes,person just possess obsession regarding thinking,but doing certain thing makes them feel relaxed,as such it leads to the condition of compulsion as it makes them free from their irrelevant thinking. Although,it is common phenomena,for a person to have thinking regarding something for a bit too long,more even twice or thrice,but with the people these thinking is continuous,as such even within a break of an hour also,they go back to similar place of either thinking or doing something which they are compelled off.

SYMPTOMS

  • Having unpleasant thinking again and again.
  • No significant power upon the thinking taking place.
  • Constantly doing certain things as such either washing their hands,with the assumption that some sort stain is present there.
  • Keeping the things in perfect manner,as such not even a slight shift in their place.
  • Constantly scared of facing any sort of embarrass condition.
  • Lack of self confidence.
  • Making the count regarding the things available at home,constantly.

TREATMENT

Treatment of OCD can be done by both the manners either with the help of some specific medicine or through therapies. Somehow it even depends on the intensity of of the problem as well.Psychologist and Psychiatrist both are helpful in the treatment purpose.

  • OCD can be even caused due to heredity as such if any one among parents,have this problem,it could be chance that the child may inherit it from them.'
  • If some dysfunction takes place in the brain of the person,then their are chances that it could take a form of OCD in person.
  • It can even take place when a person in order to avoid the undesirable thinking switch to some work,so that they may get some relaxment leading them to get used to of behavior which later on becomes compulsive in nature.

PERSPECTIVE OF PSYCHODYNAMIC

This perspective lays emphasis in the such aspect of mind which is not conscious,and beliefs most of the behavior is caused by it.As such things,,which are stored in the back of or mind,suppressed long time ids the root cause of behavior,as such in the condition of OCD as well when a person shows certain behavior again again it is due to the fact something is being suppressed in his mind.For example,when a person washes too many time,feeling some sort of stain in it,it is basically something being repressed in his mind which is constantly making him guilt,thus he washes his hands again and again.So through the that part of mind which is not conscious,this perspective OCD.

PERSPECTIVE OF BIOLOGY

According to this perspective any behavior which is shown by the person is even related with the manner the brain is functioning.As such,if there is any issue in the brain,it will eventually show in their behavior.So,accordingly OCD as per this perspective can be examined properly if the person show some sort of behavior which is basically different from the normal behavior of the person.
