Expert Solution

Form 10-K is annual filing form required to be filed with Securities and exchange commission (SEC), a regulatory body of companies in united states. Basically it is a mandatory filing required by companies operating in US.

It is used to file information about the business and its management, audited financial statements and disclosures, disclosures about legal matters involving the firms. Information required in form10-K is similar to that which a firm typically provides in its annual report to shareholders. However, a firm's annual report is not a substitute for the required 10-K filings.
