how do u calculate early start
In project management, the early start time is the earliest time at which a certain activity can be initiated.
In order to find out the early start time, the earliest finish time of the last activity will be the earliest start time of current activity.
In case an activity is initiated when two or more activities are finished, then, in this case, the earliest start time of the activity will be the earliest finish time of that activity which has the greatest value.
For example, Activity C initiated when activity A and B are completed. The earliest finish time of Activity A is 4 hours while for activity B is 6 hours. Thus, in this case, the earliest start time of activity C will be the greatest value of 4 hours and 6 hours, which indicates the earliest start time of activity C as 6 hours (being largest between 4 hours and 6 hours)
This can be seen in the below-mentioned diagram:-
In it, the early start time of A2 is the early finish time of A1 i.e. 3. Similarly early start time of A3 is the early finish time of A2 i.e. 6. and so on. In case of activity A7, it is completed when three activities A4, A5 and A6 are completed Thus the early start time of activity A7 will be the greatest time of early finish time of activities A4, A5, A6 i.e. greatest value among 10,11,11 so the early start time of A7 will be 11.
