Stanovich uses the term "probabilistic trend." What is that? What is the opposite (that is, what kind of "trend" would NOT be "probabilistic")?
Probabilistic trend is when the facets allied are more likely than not and still untrue in every context.
Confirmation with absolute certainty is not at all possible in case of probabilistic trend.
The opposite of the "probabilistic trend" is either "person-who" statistics or base rate.
"Person-who" statistics stand for scenario where statistical attributes can be challenged because someone knows a person who went opposite t a trend.
Base rate stands for the homogeneous feature or behaviour within the population.
