Identify and describe ten strategies you can use to manage your time, performance, and behaviour in the work environment?
1)Objective setting – we can control how we utilize our time and how we use our time by setting efficient goals.
2)Self-consciousness-need to understand your likes, dislikes, and needs well.
3)Self-motivation- we must be able to motivate you to take action, even if we would rather not. If we have improved our awareness of ourselves, we will have a lot of the information that we need to encourage you
.4)Focus- is one of those skills in time management where you don't realize how essential it is until you struggle.
5)Coping skills- things will go wrong every now and then. You can rest assured of that. You can sit around wallowing in desperation when things go wrong or you can evaluate the case, identify the right course of action, and implement that action.
6)Working with others efficiently-working effectively with others is often the fastest way to get a job properly done.
7)Organizing and filing-it take some time for setting up a proper filing system, but once set up, we save a lot of time because we can store and retrieve data without thinking about it.
(8)Patience- something you must practice. The very best managers of the time don't rush things.
9)Forgiveness— Give people the benefit of the doubt when things go wrong. People rarely make intentional mistakes. Whether you made the mistake, or me, choose to forgive. Take it as a real error, then concentrate on identifying the corrective action to be taken. This means that we maintain self-esteem, improve relationships, and reduce the time spent on the error.
10)Management stress – our mind and body start to suffer when we experience stress. Long-term stress exposure has led to a wide array of mental and physical problems. Before we reach this stage, proactive management of stress is a ritual in our lives
