Torts are defined as the wrongdoings that are done by the one party against the another party. Tort is a conduct that harm other people or their property.

Following are the three types of tort----------

1. Intentional wrongs--------------------An intentional tort is an act that is intentionally committed against another person with the aim of causing harm. there are several type of intentional tort that come into this category like fraud, false imprisonment, assult, invasion of privacy. Intentional torts are wrongful acts that injure or interfere with an individual well being of property.

2. Negligent wrongs----------negligence occurs when a party fails to demonstrate the kind of care a prudent person would take in the same situation and an injury results from the action or inaction. There is always a specific code of conduct which every person is expected to follow and a legal duty of public to act a certain way in order to reduce the risk of harm to other. failure to adher to these standard is known as negligence. examples--------slip and fall accident, car accident, truck accident, motar cycle accident, medical malpractice etc.

3. strick liability----------strict liability is imposition of liability on a party without finding of fault. strict liability applies when a defendent places another person in danger , even in the absence of negligence, simply because he is in possission of dangerous product, weapon or animal. ex-------defective product, animal attacks, abnormally dangerous activity.
