Please do these genetic problems:
1. Type B blood with a history of O and positive with a history of negative: I^BiPp
Cross that person with someone who is O negative: iipp
Treat this like a dihybrid cross. Two traits.
2. Can a person who is blood type A and a person who is Blood type B have an O offspring?
1. B blood group is dominant to O blood group. so B > i and Positive blood group is dominant to negative so P > p
P ---- BiPp X iipp
Gametes --- BP Bp iP ip ip
F1 - BiPp Bipp iiPp iipp
B+ B- O+ O-
2. It is possible to have a O blood group offspring from A and B blood group parents.
If Both A and B blood group parents are heterozygous containing one allele for O blood group, then there is possibility that two O alleles come together in an offspring which make him/ her O blood group. As O is recessive to A and B allele, Parents are not expressing O blood group, instead they re A and B blood group.
