If the blood contain glucose, such condition is refered as glycemia. If the amount of glucose in the blood is higher than a specific amount, it is known as hyperglycemia, if it's amount is very low, it is termed as hypoglycemia. Some person suffer from prediabetes, [ increase sugar quantity in blood ] can be controlled by reducing the glucose intake. Type of diabetes, in which insulin production will not takes place, and patients are recommended to use further insulin. Another type of diabetes, in which performance of insulin is opposed by body, and patients are recommented medicines.

Content of excess glucose in urine will leads to condition called glycosuria. It also cause diabetes, a type of diabetes due to glycosuria leads a condition, in which body fail to produce insulin, hence increase the amount of glucose. Another type of diabetes, in which body can produce only small amount of insulin. The body is provided with insulin treatment to keep the sugar content in body under control.
