Expert Solution

The situation mentioned in the question is real.

E-learning is a learning technique through digital media. With the help of e-learning, a student can access education facility through online or offline without any traditional classrooms. Online e-learning facilities will be available with the help of the internet but offline e-learning involves the help of CD, DVD and pen drives, etc. E-learning has both advantages and disadvantages. But the question mentioned in the disadvantages of e-learning.

The absence of face to face contact is one of the major drawbacks of e-learning. Proper face to face eye contact could not maintain properly in e-learning. The result is a lack of student feedback. Students may feel social isolation. Lack of proper eye contact also results in more freedom for students. That may lead to the loss of concentration from the class. These negative effects can be decreased with the help of video chats, discussions, chat rooms, etc.

E-learning is not suitable for subjects with practical experience. In e-learning, teachers focus on theory sessions and there is very little focus on practical sessions. The absence of online technology for doing practical works makes it a difficult situation. the purchase of various software could not give a complete good effect in this case. This is a severe disadvantage of E-learning. Practicals in labs and clinical examinations could not conduct online. These challenges could not overcome in e-learning. Theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge are proportional in the case of science subjects and engineering subjects. These difficulties can overcome only through offline traditional class sessions.

In addition, E-learning has some other disadvantages. Those are:

  1. Student monitoring becomes difficult in e-learning.
  2. If the environment of the student's home is not suitable for attending the class session, that may difficult for the students
  3. Technical issues like low signal strength, low clarity, etc. affect the quality of the class sessions.
  4. Low computer literacy affects e-learning badly in such students.
  5. Another drawback of e-learning is the lack of quality assurance.

In short, The practical class sessions need a student to teacher interactions and careful observations, and physical practice. It can't be effective in e-learning techniques.

Background:  What is perceived to be ethical by some people may be easily considered unethical by others. There is not always a right-wrong, yes-no, black-white answer when making decisions. Within organizations, a code of ethics can serve as an ethical guide for employee behavior; however, such codes are often general in their ethical prescriptions. On the other hand, individuals are often left to make ethical decisions simply based on what they perceive to be morally right. Exercise:  Follow the steps below in...
