Emotions and rationality goes hand in hand with one another. A person reacts in a rational way , if their emotions are shaped properly. However , action based on beliefs will tend to be irrational. Emotions tend to enhance / uplift the rationality of beliefs.
Firstly , Emotions refer to a repeatitive event or it can be a standing disposition. The rate of disposition can be low or high.
Secondly, emotions can be controlled like in the case of displaying emotions like love and physiological patterns of emotions , but yet the people are unaware of it .
Thirdly , emotions should not be recognised with the older term of passion or with the latest type of emotions including hunger , thirst , sexual desire .
Passions are a form of emotions , but they do not include state of emotions such as sadness , boredom etc.
Fourthly , emotions tend to have similar features . Emotions tend to behave in a certain mechanism rather than laws .
