IBM is a computer industry which was started in June 16,1911 it was a merger of 4 different companies it was mainly based in America only but as time passed IBM expanded itself and now IBM is a successfully global companies of the time it is operating in over 170 different countries. IBM is among the other companies that adopted globalization in information fields. IBM products are hardware, software and cloud base services etc. and they have actively grown in the sector of information systems by using latest information processing technology and adopting external environment as required by other regions.

Globalization benefited IBM in a major way, America is a big country and the users of IBM in America are in a vast number but the company knew that if they expanded it globally it will benefit the company sales so globalization helped IBM in their sales. Another one of the important advantage that IBM got from globalization, that as time passed new competitors were battling with IBM and IBM was losing it's ground as the company globalized IBM it created a strong hold ground for IBM in other countries. This helped IBM from falling down and also created a good relations with other countries.
