Importance of solution evaluation:

1. It is very important to evaluate solutions because it helps in considering the alternatives that best offer the design criteria for the product and fits the goals. One needs to evaluate solutions so that relative values can be compared and identified. To assist the overall process, the data is presented and recorded in a way that is meaningful to the customers.

1. Evaluation is the best way to help others see the value in the solution and accept the decision. This is a great way to build team work and boost communications pertaining to implementation. Apart from helping in quick and easy decision making, it also helps in building knowledge regarding the product, or service.

1. For big projects where the focus is not just on the product but also the training of the members, evaluation makes sure that required learning took place. If the appropriate methods and activities were incorporated, it shows that all the resources were fully utilized.
