Would you be comfortable in a personal-selling role? Why or why not?

Expert Solution

Yes the advertisement of royal stag music CDs is one of the advertisement that I think I can remake much better because of the fact that nothing was told about the music CDs in the advertisement and it was complete surrogate marketing in which CDs were not promoted rather the alcohol brand was the primary focus and hence if I were to do the advertisement then I would have definitely dispels the attributes of the music CDs and would not have done the way it was done. I would hav used Rational appeal as the only way to get this product sell in the market is to talk logic with the probable customers by displaying them the benefits of such a low cost product.
I would be quite comfortable with personal selling initially as I will get to know the mentality of the people and what exactly they want so that adequate changes can be done and also the adoption rate can be easily estimated by personal selling and hence in he short run it is quite effective and in the long run we may think of increasing the sales numbers and hence this would not work in the long run.
