Describe the essential factors for producing mature sperms with normal motility in males.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Production of sperm is called spermatogenesis.Sperms are produced in the seminiferous tubules of testes and they got matured within the epidydimis.

Factors that produce mature sperms are-

1.Low temperature- cooler temperature favours the production as well as the motility of mature sperms. When they are exposed to heat, motility decreases and also sperm count decreases.

2.Penis and scrtum must not be tightened which may reduce the motility and also production, which can lead to erectile dysfunction. It should be kept safe.

3.Toxic substance like paints, plastic, pesticides can adversely affect the reproductive count of sperms.

4.A proper and balanced diet will help to increase sperm production.Food rich in antioxidants helps in increasing the count.

5.Avoiding stress and depression can lead to a better reproductive health.

6.Avoiding alcohol consumption helps in increasing the count as it decreases the level of testosterone and decreases semen quality.
