Importance of workforce diversity is that it not only helps organization, get enrichment of its organizational culture  with different values and ethos, belonging to different religion, ethnicity and other dimensions of diversity, but also it brings different innovative ideas to the organization that become the basis of growth of the organization. Besides, organizations develop a hugely positive reputation, goodwill and employer branding to attract top talents. It boosts the organization in the market and local acceptability also increases. It shows the importance of workforce diversity.

The organization, that is felt to exemplify the diversity in its workforce is  taken as Google for research and discussion.  It is the secondary research that shows that Google regularly analyses its job ads, interview questions and test that is truly based on competency and attract talents from diverse sources.
