Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems create and maintain the levels of comfort required by guests and employees. HVAC systems must be properly selected, operated and maintained if they are they are to provide an appropriate level of comfort.
How do you think a hotel building stays cool?
Solution -
HVAC systems are critical in hotels and hospitality industry. These systems not just ensure the heating, ventilation and air conditioning but have the capability to be integrated with the control system of the hotel building and provide varied conditions as per requirement.
There are automated sensor systems installed in parts of the building to ensure that proper climatic requirements are met. The HVAC systems are all integrated with the large rooftop PTAC units that are responsible for air conditioning. The sensor mechanism helps in energy conservation for the business and provide a comfortable environment. The variable frequency drives ensure efficient functioning of chillers, pumps and cooling towers. The HVAC also support in water conservation mechanism in such buildings. The ventilation mechanism ensures that proper air purity, odour, smoke and oxygen levels are maintained. Again the sensor mechanism ensures such refining of air movement within these buildings.
The sensor mechanism and PTAC units keep the hotel buildings cool and are controlled by the HVAC systems which are intelligent systems and keep the building risk free during certain extreme weather conditions. The HVAC is a continuous system and ensures functioning at all times. The defect detection mechanism sends early warning signals to the maintenance team to ensure all cooling and heating units are working without any downtime.
