Information Technology has been the most important aspect of an organization because with the advancement of technology, organizations have come a long way and coping up with this advancement will become difficult for organizations if there is an absence of effective information technology unit of the organization. If we look at the structure of successful organizations today we will observe that the organizations have had an effective Information Technology Unit that has made the organization better in terms of efficiency, quality and prospect. and IT unit will mean a dedicated team working for the betterment of the system of the organization and the major challenge in this aspect is if the organization is from a different genre of business. For example it is a baby foods producing organization that are looking for creating an effective IT unit, so it is clear that there is knowledge issues and initially the organization may have to outsource the same in order to get better results and this will incur high costs and giving access to data to a foreign organization.

Today organizations devise strategy based on their feasibility with Information Technology and successful organizations have made it mandatory to have a dedicated IT unit or department that will take care of the information solutions of the organization and without IT will become more and more difficult for organizations to handle the change in the way of doing business.
