Human impact on the environment includes changes to biophysical environment and ecosystems, biodiversity, and natural resources caused directly or indirectly by humans, including global warming, environmental degradation(such as ocean acidification) mass extinction and biodiversity loss, ecological crisis, and ecological collapse.
Modifying the environment to fit the needs of society is causing severe effects, which become worse as the problem of human overpopulation continues. Some human activities that cause damage (either directly or indirectly) to the environment on a global scale include population growth, overconsumption, overexploitation , pollution, and deforestation etc.
Some of the problems, including global warming and biodiversity loss pose an existential risk to the human race, and human overpopulation causes those problems.
Global warming is an important environmental problem in which gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, CFCs, and other pollutants.
Global warming is primarily caused by humans putting too much carbon in the atmosphere, like when we choose to extract and burn coal, oil, and gas, or cut down and burn forests.
Deforestation increases the atmospheric pressure and contributing to this global problem.
There are many ways to reduce this environmental problem such as :
The first way to prevent climate change is to move away from fossil fuels. Promoting the use of renewable energies like solar, wind, biomass and geothermal.
Inorder to reduce the CO2 emissions from buildings - caused by heating, air conditioning, hot water or lighting - it is necessary both to build new low energy buildings, and to renovate the existing constructions.
Promote the reforestation.plant more trees to reduce the atmospheric pollutions.
Recycling of waste to reduce the pollutions ang Global warming.
