The patient get can get into very serious condition due to deep penetration of wound from large intestine and lumen. In most of the patient surgery neccessery to close the hole and treat the condition.The injury may be mild or severe.
Doctors often classify the abdomen injuries by type structure that is damaged and how injury occured.
penetrating injury occured when object breaks the skin.Blunt or penetrating injury may cut or rupture abdominal organ or blood vessels.knife injury may cause to collect inside the structure of solid organ (Liver) or wall of hollow organ such as small and large intestine such collections of blood called as hematomas, uncontained bleeding into abdominal cavity and in the spce of surrounding organs called hemoperitoneum.
Cut and tear begins bleeding immediately, When ther is a penerating injury it may cause serious medical emergency condition.and hollow organs injured the content of organ may enters the abdominal cavity and cause irritatin and inflammation.
