How has technology affected your life?

Throughout life, I have witnessed the change in technology. The time when there used to be no mobile phones and only those landlines that would be used for communicating to the times where we could see people across countries through video calls. The advent of internet, has been the biggest and the most effective technological advancement.

For me, the Internet has changed my life, from being able to study and learn online, I have been able to connect with people. Friends and family staying abroad seem not so distant and just a call away. For me, devices such as tablets, iPad, which are powerful devices that pack a mini computer in a small size, enable a,l the work in the world. Today, I don’t have to keep opening my laptop in order to read a document or make a presentation. These tablets are enough.

The power of these devices are increased mutltifold by the super strong internet. Today, the world is connected and the world is one. Internet has become such a platform that we are available to the people with whom we want to connect, almost always. There was a time in my childhood when we would just dream of devices which are magical and could do everything. Today, we have those devices.
