A magnetic nanoparticle is the class of those particles that can be manipulated by utilizing the magnetic field. These particles are composed of two different components of magnetic material, Nickel and Cobalt. These are used in biomedical and Biotechnology purposes. Their surfaces are functionalized by the suspected molecule which makes them hydrophilic and water-soluble.
The application of magnetic nanoparticles in the field of biotechnology is utilized for bacterial specific targeting agents. They selectively target pathogenic bacteria. They are also helpful for the synthesis of iron oxide which is utilized for the challenges of Agricultural biotechnology.
Biomedicine also uses magnetic nanoparticles for the functionalization of some applications in the central nervous system. This is utilized in the field of hyperthermia, diagnosis, and imaging.
A magnetic nanoparticle is utilized in the field of engineering for tissue engineering. The biomedical applications approach provides better stability in the naked form. These are also utilized for or better stability. In the field of engineering they are utilised as spectroscopy .
