Question 3 Part A ( 3 marks) A project (by a competitor) is way behind development by five months. Your company's Project Manager Ellie suggested using the "exploit" strategy to supply to the customer. Explain to your team briefly what is this type of risk? Part B ( 9 marks) With reference to the strategy of exploitation above, now create a detailed plan on what you would execute with your team. [Assumption: Budget is not a problem.]
Part A: Using the exploit strategy we can get the more customer support from the customer before the release of competitors project , we will be doing here that we will launch our project before the competitor and gain the user base before any competition in the market but in this strategy there is risk that as you are releasing your project early there might be chances that your project might have error or bugs so there is risk of failing of project miserably while serving the customer and there is a huge oppurtunity that you will be succeeded.
Part B:The detailed plan is as follows , first we will be developing our system using the V-shape model so that there is verification and validation check at every stage of the development process , so that there are basic security and relaibility in the system and the development can be completed if we employ large workforce adn it can be completed ina time period of 1 month and the next stage will of testing of the software and this stage need time but as we dont have much time so we will hiring large number of people and completing the task in 15-20 days and than releasing the porject for the customer and we need to have a team sitting beside the server room tolook after the project all the time as there are huge chances of failure in the system so we will be needing a maintenance on standby everytime for recovery from failure.
