Social synergy is very powerful term in businesses and organization. When two organizations or two people work unitedly to accomplish their targets than it can give more productive results. So, this technique is called the social synergy and it arises when people work together cooperatively to achieve their objectives. Working unitedly in organization can accomplish more better results than working separately. It helps to achieve difficult goals and benefits the organization in terms of growth and profit.

Social synergy is focused on doing the work with more creativity and productivity. Forming a group having different group members, these members have their own knowledge and creativity. Then we can conquer the bigger challenges and achieve higher goals and objectives. With the power of these group members we can achieve something which is very difficult to achieve. Social synergy is being used by the organization to make their organization more productive and creative.

Social synergies are of two types. It can be positive synergy or negative. When people or organizations work combinedly with full dedication and focus on their agenda then it can give good results. This synergy can be considered as positive. But if the work is not being done by full dedication and energy then it can also have negative impact on the work progress which is known as negative synergy.

Socio-technical systems are the system that we are using in our daily life. Social media, email, blogs, websites are all example of the socio-technical systems. The example of positive synergies is like for communicating with other people we use WhatsApp, Facebook etc.

Wikipedia is the best platform to share our knowledge. This knowledge is not limited to only one particular field and only for selected members. It is freely available to all the people.

There are many learning platforms like Udemy, Coursera, Blackboard, Byju’s and many other platforms where student can learn according to their own compatibility. They can learn the same topic as many times as they want. So, this is an example of the positive synergy while using Socio-technical systems.

But the negative synergies also exist there. For eg. the students can copy the original work of other students. Plagiarism is also a negative synergy of socio-technical systems. In this manner, the socio-technical systems can have positive and negative impact to their participants.
