Develop a marketing plan to increase ticket sales for each of these two shows as compared with the ticket sales from last year. With your target markets identified for The shows are the Wildcats and the Wonder Dogs. Similar to shows that did not do well on the Hush Puppies reunion concert that was intended to attract an audience of older adults, ages 50 to 60. The Center also failed to make as much as was anticipated on the Bouncing Bunnies family show that was targeted toward preschool and early elementary school students. The advertising campaigns for each show consisted primarily of print and radio ads as well as outdoor billboards. Describe the specific advertising, promotions, and marketing tools you will use to reach the target markets for each of these two shows and effectively increase tickets sales over last year’s results.
1. Describe the specific marketing strategies and marketing media you would use for each of these two shows. Explain your rationale and frequency for each.
2. Do the following for each show-
a. Design a print marketing advertisement.
b. Write a 30-second script to be used for a radio spot.
c. Design a creative social media promotion (that goes beyond just announcing the event).
3. Research current advertising rates and establish a marketing budget for each event.
Answer 1) Ok so promoting shows there are so many straregies and ways to promoter the shows, but choosing the appropriate show is the most important because that’s when the best output comes. For each of these two shows my major focus will be on hoarding advertisement because I still believe that hoardings are the best way to attract customer because when they see a hoarding and then when they focus back on their work/driving the photo of hoarding goes in mind and all other related things. Along with this I will be going for digital marketing as most of people are now on social media handles and this will engage more audience at lesser price. As both shows Wildcats and the Wonder Dogs are related to animals I will also be using marketing strategy of promoting these shows at parks i.e. putting posters at parks because park is a place where most customers come with their dogs and cats. 1st priority Hoardings, 2nd Digital marketing, 3rd posters in park
Answer 2a) Print marketing advertisement will be having the photo of Wildcats and the Wonder Dogs at the centre and a tagline of favorite shows for dog and cat lovers is here. Watch it with your dog and cats and make them feel like a family. As I am making emotional appeal customers will be attracted. Print media will be having all details about the show i.e. location, price, duration etc
Answer 2b) script will be like “Ever thought while you watch Netflix shows what your dog or cat feels? It’s the time for them to see, feel and enjoy. We are bringing our famous show Wildcats and the Wonder Dogs watch it with your pets and enjoy the exclusive content”
Answer 2c) Social media promotion will be creating a countdown of days left in show, creating unique stickers of cast in the show, creating fun facts and sharing. A proper page will be created of Wildcats and the Wonder Dogs to attract more people towards the show. Live videos will also be posted about the excitement level of customer to watch the show.
Answer 3) Current advertisement rate may differ from country to country, the rate depends upon many factors, the time duration of the advertisement, the time at which the advertisement will be displayed all these things. The most expensive way of advertising is television advertisement and the cheapest and most effective way of advertisement is social media advertisement and digital marketing, so this will be the best way to go for Wildcats and the Wonder Dogs. Now talking about the budget the budget what I will be allotting is 20% revenue of the total show. 20% earned from show or the capital of the show will go for advertisement.
