Constant practice on a single task is one which helps in achieving mastery of the same. Achieving mastery in all tasks is the strategy that shall be incorporated in a variable practice schedule. The number of mistakes in a variable practice schedule is more as compared to that of constant practice. However, the core issue for mistakes is primarily due to the absorption of more irrelevant information from different sessions of variable practices as compared to that of the constant one. When one performs, constant practice, brain neurons are wired well in absorbing only relevant information with increase in practice session thereby absorbing only relevant and neglecting the irrelevant. This is the factor which gives motivation and success rate. Lessons learned from constant training with respect to type of information to be given importance is the one which must be strategy when performing varied practice.
