1. What is power and use of power ?

Power is a universal constant: it is needed to run the most trivial functions of an organization or project. Thus, power is a prerequisite for success irrespective of people’s inner needs for power. While organizational power can keep an organization in check and even spur it to growth and fame, it is equally effective in destroying the organization as well.

Organizational power is consequently seen as a management resource, much like information and technical expertise, which are management resources in their own right. The judicious use and design of organizational power is thus significant.

Strategy defines once long-term goals and how they planning to achieve them. A solid strategy reflects the core values of the organization. Your strategic team should gather input from across the organization to ensure there’s alignment between the strategy and each department’s priorities. All strategies should be actionable.

Strategic decisions redistribute & arranges a major portion of a firm’s resources to be more competitive.
