What is wrong with our progress (as a country and as Filipinos)? Where should it start: from the government or from the people themselves?

Philippines is one of the most underrated country in the world. Its huge progress and its innovations are very great. But at the same time this country is facing a lot of problems and one of the very big problem in this country is its environmental degradation. The pollution in this country is in its peak. The problem of pollution has led this country into facing a lot of health problems including asthma. Environmental degradation has very big negative impacts on the present as well as the future generations.

Who is to be blamed? Well according to me, both the government and the citizens of this country has failed to cope up with this problem. Not giving proper attention to such problems has led this country into facing such a dilemma.

The government should give proper attention to this problem in order to ensure that there should be no such extraction of natural resources anymore. The one who is extracting a natural resource should be punished and more plants and trees should be planted to cope up with this problem. The citizens of this country should help the government to achieve and to eliminate this problem out of this country. Both the government and the people can remove this problem out of this country. There is not any problem which cannot be solved by the citizens and the government of Philippines.
