Visit a local retailer and observe how long customers spend observing/comparing brands at the point of purchase (i.e. how many brands do they consider, how long they spend with each brand, etc.) and whether they eventually settle and decide to make a purchase. This article concentrates on online behavior and considering your observations of "live" customer interaction explain how those behaviors could be incorporated into BT in an online environment.

There are lot of people who would go for shopping and spend so much their of time in selecting one for themselves. Basically, customers plan to go for shopping where as they make up their minds to visit a store and purchase. Its very obvious the shopping centers or shops may happen to be bit far from the customers place. So, for example if the customer plans to start in the morning it might take whole day to finish which shows its pretty much time taking also expenses will be added.

Initially, customers enter a clothing store where as the greetings by the shop assistants would seem sweet and attracts customers and even they assist the customers. There would be a person who would be assigned to assist the particular customer where as he would take the customers requirements like which type of clothes is she seeking for, which Colour, the range as per customer comfort to buy the clothes. After taking all the requirements from the customer he would start showing or displaying the meet requirements by customer. As per my observations, most of the customers would take so much of time where as hardly they may like 2 or 3 in which they would again try using trail room in shops among which 60% may buy the product. Among which after reaching back they may not like the product but there wont be any return in shops and even to exchange one must again visit the place all the way spending money again. Most of the customer buy takes too much of time to just select the product in live.

Advantages:

  1. The detailed explanation about the cloth and in depth details.
  2. Mostly independent designs.
  3. Limited pieces availability.
  4. Get to see and touch the product.

Disadvantages:

  1. Time taking process.
  2. A huge disadvantage is that the store might be crowd or one can be rude.
  3. Sales staff at store may force to buy.
  4. Traveling expenses.

In current generation online environment would be best in all the ways as it is having all the ways to do according to one's likes. Customer can shop whenever he wants to shop. He can just order according to his dimensions using given size chart and place the order online where as door step delivery will be provided and in case if the customer isn't okay he can return or replace or exchange according to the terms and conditions mention in the website.

Advantages:

  1. Saving alot of time.One can shop anytime anywhere.
  2. Lot of filter options so customer can view according to his requirements.
  3. Wide collection of clothes.
  4. There won't be any sales staff to pressure to buy.
  5. Tracking details will also be provided.

Disadvantages:

  1. Customer won't get to touch the fabric even if the description is given.
  2. Few frauds in online shopping.

Conclusion:

To maintain a healthy culture as well as in this current pandemic it is always better to maintain social distancing and also to shop online.
