critically analyze the following three popular training systems: bigger, faster, stronger (BFS); crossfit; and high intensity training/heavy duty training(HIT). Hoe do they compare to the seven laws of training? which of these systems of training would be most appropriate for you?why?
The BFS or bigger, faster, stronger training program is aimed for total conditioning of body of all athletes and it aims at improving performance along with agility, strength, flexibility and overall speed. Crossfit is aimed at improving the aerobic power and helps in strength and conditioning of the body. It helps in enhancing the physical strength and the maximum amount of oxygen which is used by the body. It is a mix of aerobic and body weight exercise. The high intensity training is aimed at building the muscles and burning fat and it includes short burst of exercise in repetition that includes low point of recovery aiming at burning more calories.
These three form of exercise compares to seven law of training because each of the type of exercise is meant for different individual as by the first law it states that the training should not be same for everyone and hence each athlete must perform specific training that suits them. The more the exercise are performed, the body tends to overcompensate for the same and hence the intensity must be increased so that there is improvement. The body tends to adapt to a type of exercise form as compared to other and this indicates the specific adaptation for the body. An individual must push themselves to exercise based on the use/disuse principle where the body must be able to recover from it.
The most appropriate for myself would be HIT or high intensity training as it aims at burning more calories while losing fat and gaining muscles. The short burst of exercise with less recovery time and more repetitions helps in increasing performance and build better muscles.
