As mention above, company wants to test the mean response time for a supplement to reduce blood glucose levels in diabetic patients.

So for this test they need samples in the form of patients who are diabetic, then only they will come to know the result.

For example :- In a hospital there are 1000 diabetes patients, and company want to perform this test, they cannot test on whole population, so instead of testing on 1000 patient, they draw a sample of some amount, say 150 and then they carry this test on 150 patients.

So the statement is true that, the sample obtained in this study is the 150 randomly selected patients with diabetes.
