a manager from an insurance company studied about the low performance of their insurance agents in getting sales. based on previous studies, identified four variables to be important to job performance. these include skills required for the job, rewards, motivation and satisfaction. this study was carried out to determine factors that significantly differenf among the different demographic characteristics. A questionnaire was distributedto 200 employees selected at random describe the following items.

b) the population
c) suitable method of sampling. Justify your answer
d) method of data collection. Justify your answer
e) methods of analyses based on the stated objective
Four variables which are very important for the job performance are:
1. Organisational culture: This would include both the motivation as well as employee satisfaction for showing better job performance.
2. Rewards and Incentives: This includes both intrinsic as well as extrinsic factors to motivate the employees for better performance.
3. Training: This would include the training provided to make sure the employee has the knowledge to perform the job.
4. Skills and Knowledge: This would include the relevant skills and knowledge in the organisation that woule help him to improve the job performance.
a) type of research design
As it is more of qualitative type of research, the research design would be more descriptive and qualitative research design for the analysis and collection of data.
b) the population: The population would be the 200 employees to whom the questionnaires are being sent.
c) suitable method of sampling. Justify your answer
As all the 200 employees cannot be interviewed together thus 20 employees from every department would be selected to make sure the right sample is made to collect the right qualitative data. Random sampling technique would be used without any judgement.
d) method of data collection. Justify your answer
The data would be collected by the questionnaires and interviewed conducted as the basis of group discussions to make sure every department's people have their saying regarding what are the variables affecting their jobs and what are not and how can the job made better in the organisation as it is discriptive analysis.
e) methods of analyses based on the stated objective
The discriptive analysis would be solely based of qualitative analysis where the data recorded would then thoroughly studied and the factors voted the most effective to least effective would be stated in the research analysis method to make sure the right research and objective conduction is done
