Normally the temperature of the testis regulated at 35 degree celsius , that is 2 degree celsius less than the body temperature. The temperature of the testis is kept below the normal body temperature because the spermatogenesis is affected by the temperature.

The optimim tempeature for the spermatogenesis is 35 degree celsius.

When the temperature of the testis become high, it is regulated by the relaxation of the cremasteric muscle present in the spermatic cord.when the cremasteric muscle relaxes, the testis will descend downward away from the body
