In your own words, how do you describe ethics?
Ethics are the moral thinking that a person develops and follows. Earlier ethics was the term which was associated with culture, country, race but now there are world wide research over the same and it has has noted that today culture and ethics would not go much hand in hand. It is how the individual practises his day to day acts, his work life, his family, his thoughts towards the same are ethics. Hence for some people being honest, taking care of elder people, giving truth the highest value can be ethics but whereas for other people not being fair can also lead to happiness. For some people drinking may not be ethical but whereas for other people it may be one of the idea of bringing people together, having more discussions about new topics over drink. It would not matter to him. Hence ethics differ from person to person.
In short a person does those activities what makes him happy and he considers the same as ethics
